It's not easy balancing a caregiver role and other parts of your life when you care for someone with a chronic condition such as Parkinson's disease. Powerful tools is a FREE, six weeks class (1 day/week, 2½) giving caregivers tools to help reduce stress, make difficult decisions, communicate more effectively in challenging situations, and most importantly, prevent caregiver burnout! To get the full benefit of these classes, caregivers must commit & attend 5 of the six following classes:


Week 1: Taking Care of You
Week 2: Identifying and Reducing Stress
Week 3: Communicating Feelings, Needs, & Concerns
Week 4: Communicating in Challenging Situations
Week 5: Learning from our Emotions
Week6: Mastering Caregiving Decisions

On Friday, March 3, 2017 join the Davis Phinney Foundation for a national educational event featuring dynamic presentations from leading movement disorder neurologists and therapists from across the country. It’s an upbeat, fast-paced event of community and connection, filled with laughter and conversation.
